NEUROLOGY

Neuropsychiatrist, clinical neurophysiologist

Prof. dr Stojanka Đurić

Prof. Dr. Stojanka Đurić, full professor of the Faculty of Medicine in Niš, retired, specialist neuropsychiatrist, subspecialist in clinical neurophysiology, owner of the polyclinic “NEUROMEDIC” in Niš.
He has been practicing neurology and clinical neurophysiology for more than 40 years.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Niš, specializing in neuropsychiatry and subspecializing in clinical neurophysiology, and defended her doctoral dissertation at the same faculty.
She was educated in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Clinical Center in Ljubljana, at the National Hospital in London and at the Medical Academic Center in Amsterdam.
She has published over 250 scientific and professional papers in domestic and foreign journals, at domestic and foreign congresses.
As an author, she has written 4 books in the field of EEG, EMNG and Evoked Potentials, and is a co-author in four books, two of which are of international importance in English.
He is the editor of one textbook and one practicum for students of professional studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Niš.
She was the director of the Neurology Clinic and assistant director of the Clinical Center in Niš for five years.
He is the founder of the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology at the Clinic for Neurology, of which he has been the head for many years.
She educated over 30 doctors and medical technicians in EEG, EMNG and Evoked Potentials in Serbia.
She was a member of the Republican Committee for Expert Supervision in Neurology, the Committee for Passing the Specialist Exam in Neurology and the President of the Committee for Passing the Subspecialist Exam in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Faculty of Medicine in Niš.
She was the head of the Department of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine and the president of the Neurological Section of the SLD of Serbia.
In the course of her professional work, she has been awarded several times for her outstanding contribution to the development of the health service, and in 2002, the monograph entitled “EVOCIRED POTENTIALS”, which she authored, received the first prize of the SLD in Nis.
At the end of her professional career, she was awarded the highest award of the Serbian Medical Association – the award for LIFE’S WORK.

NEUROLOGY

Specialist in neurology

Dr spec. med. Vanja Đurić

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Niš.
She completed her specialization in neurology at the same faculty.
She worked as a specialist in neurology and electroneuromyographer for eleven years at the Clinic for Neurology in Niš, in the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology and in the Department of Neuromuscular Diseases.
She completed a one-year education in electroneuromyography at the same clinic.
She gained experience and trained in Lausanne, Switzerland at the University Clinic in the Department of Neuromuscular Diseases and in the electroneuromyography office for one year.
She completed her education in electroneuromyography in Bern, Switzerland. Then, she was educated in Paris and Nice, France in the field of neuromuscular diseases.
So far, as an author and co-author, she has published and communicated 45 papers in national and international journals, many of which are on the Sci list.
He regularly follows domestic and international congresses and newspapers in the field of neurology, especially neuromuscular diseases and electroneuromyography.
After that, she was educated in the field of computerized spinal non-operative decompression therapy for disc herniation problems with eminent experts from America.
He is currently participating in scientific research projects in the field of neurology.
He is currently in the final phase of his academic doctoral studies in the field of medical science and is working on an approved doctoral dissertation in the field of neuropathies.
He is a member of the Society of Neurologists of Serbia (DNS) and the European Academy of Neurology (EAN).

Prim. dr Marina Jolić

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Niš.
She completed her specialization in neuropsychiatry at the same faculty.
She completed her education in Clinical Electromyoneurography, Clinical Electroencephalography and Evoked Potentials.
She worked for over thirty years at the Clinic for Neurology of the Niš Clinical Center as a clinical neurophysiologist in the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology, and for the last two years she also ran a specialist clinic for polyneuropathies.
She participated in the education of numerous doctors in the field of Electromyoneurography and Evoked Potentials in Serbia.
In 2001, she received the title of Primarius.
Until now, as an author and co-author, she has published and communicated numerous works in domestic and international journals at domestic and international conferences.
He regularly follows domestic and international congresses and newspapers in the field of neurophysiology, neurology and pain therapy.

Prof. dr Aleksandra Stanković

Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Stanković was born in Kruševac.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Niš, where she completed her master’s and doctoral studies, specialist studies in internal medicine and subspecialization in rheumatology.
He is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Niš, retired.
She completed her professional training in Paris at the Lariboisiere Hospital, where she also conducted research for her doctoral dissertation.
She was the head of the Rheumatology Clinic and deputy director of the Niška Banja Institute.
She has published over 450 scientific papers in domestic and foreign reference journals.
Manager in three projects of the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia.
He is a member of EUSTAR (European Association for Diagnosis and Treatment of Systemic Sclerosis).

1. One of the authors of the textbook “Interna propadeuvika”, 1991.
2. Editor of the chapter “Diseases of the locomotor apparatus and connective tissue” in the textbook “Internal Medicine” and “Internal Medicine – examples from clinical practice”, editions from: 1994, 1996, 2004 and 2010.
3. Antiarthritic drugs – chondroprotectors, Therapy of rheumatic diseases, Belgrade 1999.

She participated in numerous domestic and international professional meetings.
The winner of the awards: Charter of the Faculty of Medicine in Niš, Charter, plaque and thank-you letter of SLD, Lifetime Achievement Award of SLD.

Doc. dr Dragan Đorđević

Asst. Dragan Đorđević, PhD, was born in 1964.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade during his senior year, in 1990.
Since 1994, he has been working at the Institute for Treatment and Rehabilitation “Niška Banja” in Niška Banja, in cardiology and cardiovascular rehabilitation.
He received his master’s degree in cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine in Niš in 1997.
He completed his specialization in internal medicine at the Faculty of Medicine in Niš in 1998 with an excellent grade.
He received his doctorate in the field of cardiology in 2003.
In 1998, he was selected as an assistant trainee in the Internal Medicine course, and now he holds the title of assistant professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, Cardiology Department at the Faculty of Medicine in Niš.
He completed his training in invasive cardiology (coronarography) partly at the Clinical Center of Niš (2009) and mostly at the Clinical Center of Serbia (2010), in Belgrade.
He had training for the implantation of temporary pacemakers (in 2010).
He had an education in the field of echocardiography.
He is the author and co-author (until 2019) of more than 400 scientific and professional papers.

Prof. dr Lana Mačukanović-Golubović

Dr. Lana Mačukanović Golubović was born in 1956.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Niš with an average grade of 9.61.
She established a working relationship as a general practitioner at the Internal Medicine Clinic in the Department of Hematology and Immunoallergology in 1983.
She enrolled in postgraduate studies in hematology in 1981/82.
She defended her master’s thesis in 1987, and her doctoral dissertation in 1996.
In January 1990, she passed the specialist exam with an excellent grade. She obtained her subspecialization in hematology in 2005.
She was elected to the position of assistant at the Faculty of Medicine in Niš in 1991 in the subject of Internal Medicine – Hematology, re-elected in 1995, to the position of assistant professor in 1997, to the position of associate professor in 2002, and to the position of full professor in 2007.
She was the director of the Hematology Clinic from 1997 to 2002, and then the head of the Hematology Clinic.
He is the author and co-author of over 200 professional and scientific papers presented at domestic and international meetings; author and co-author of over 20 papers published in their entirety in reference journals.
She participated as a mentor in the preparation of master’s and doctoral theses, subspecialist and graduate theses.

Prof. dr Tatjana Pejčić

Prof. Dr. Tatjana Pejčić graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Niš as the best student of the fifth year of medicine with an average grade of 9.44.
Since 1987, he has been working at the Clinic for Pulmonary Diseases of the KC Niš.
She received her master’s degree and doctorate at the same faculty in the field of immunology and pulmonology.
He has been a specialist in pneumophthisiology since 1992, and a subspecialist in pulmonology since 2007.
She was an assistant, assistant professor, associate professor, and now she holds the title of full professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Niš, in the subject of internal medicine – the field of pneumophthisiology.
Since 2014, he has been the director of the Clinic for Pulmonary Diseases of KC Niš.
She is the editor of two books in the field of pneumonia, participated in the writing of numerous books and textbooks for students and residents of the Faculty of Medicine in Nis, Belgrade and Novi Sad.
He is the organizer and participant of numerous expert meetings, symposiums and congresses in the field of respiratory medicine in the country and abroad.
From 2012 to 2016, she was the president of the pneumophtisiology section of the SLD.
He is the author and co-author of more than 150 professional and scientific papers in various fields of pulmonology.
He is a member of the European Respiratory Association, Respiratory Association of Serbia, Association for Sarcoidosis, WASOG – World Association for Sarcoidosis and Interstitial Diseases, UDAH – Association for Asthma.
He is a reviewer of numerous professional and scientific papers in magazines in the country and abroad, as well as a reviewer for books and protocols published by the Ministry of Health as guidelines for the treatment of lung diseases.
He is a member of the Republic Commission for Pulmonology and the Republic Commission for Tuberculosis at the Ministry of Health.

PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION

Physiatrist

Prim. dr Zlata Vasović

She was born in 1948.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Niš in 1979, and specialized in physical medicine and rehabilitation in 1979 in Belgrade.
She actively participated in professional meetings, symposiums, sections and congresses.
She worked as a member of the committee for external expert supervision. She obtained the title of primarius in 1998.
In the period from 1974 to 1975, she worked in the Emergency Medical Service in Kruševac.
From 1975 to 1986, she worked at the Institute for Rehabilitation in Ribarska Banja.
She completed education in laser therapy.
Since 1986, she worked at the Niš Health Center in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
She has been praised several times and in 1996 she was awarded a certificate of appreciation.
She worked as the head of physical medicine and rehabilitation, and then as the head of the service.
